Eli Strell About Me   Fossils
Me digging for fossils Me digging for dinosaur bones near Newcastle, Wyoming

Welcome to my webpage! I'm a first year undergraduate at UC Santa Cruz, double majoring in Earth Science (Planetary Science) and Chemistry (Biochemistry). I intend to pursue a PhD to study how life may have emerged from early Earth geochemistry.

As with my interests, I'm also incrediby passionate about paleontology (though I intend to keep this a hobby). I've searched for fossils around the United States and I've found some pretty cool stuff. I got to excavate a Triceratops sp. skull in Eastern Montana, I discovered a new genus/species of radiodont (Anomalocaris relative) in New York, and I've donated several fossil specimens to the Yale Peabody Museum and California Academy of Science. In the top right corner, you'll see a "paleontology" button where I've prepared an extensive catalog of useful paleontological resources, as well as albums of my fossil collection and fossil hunting trips.
